Field Marshal’s involvement in the assault of Journalist Keith Noya

Former Army Commander Field Marshal  Sarath Fonseka has been blamed to be involved  in the  assault of journalist Keith Noya . Coordinator of Army for Mother land Organization, Major Ajith Prasanna alleged in a press conference conducted on Monday,28th Dec.2015.

Good governance Government  which took steps to investigate  abduction and murder of Prageeth Ekneligoda has failed to investigate the attack on journalist Keith Noya.  He posed the question why the Government is reluctant to order for investigation in respect of Keith Noya?

Noyahr, the former deputy editor with the English weekly The Nation, was abducted on 22nd May 2008. A day later, he was dropped off near his residence, badly beaten up and bruised.

Three army personnel including a Major have been arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) in connection with the abduction and assault on journalist Keith Noyahr in 2008.

ஊடகவியலாளர் கீத் நொயாவை கடத்தி தாக்கிய சம்பவம் தொடர்பில் இராணுவ மேஜர் மற்றும் இரண்டு இராணுவ அதிகாரிகள் இன்று கைது செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளனர்.

குறித்த மூவரையும் குற்றப்புலனாய்வு பிரிவினரே கைது செய்துள்ளனர்.கைது செய்யப்பட்ட மூவரும் கல்கிஸ்ஸ நீதவான் நீதிமன்றில் முன்னிலைப்படுத்தப்படவுள்ளனர்.

2008ம் ஆண்டு மே மாதம் ஊடகவியலாளர் கீத் நொயா கடத்தப்பட்டு தாக்கப்பட்டார்.

ஊடகவியலாளர் நொயர் அவரது அலுவலகத்தில் இருந்து வீடு திரும்பிய போதே வழியில் வைத்து கடத்தப்பட்டிருந்தார் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
